Hi, I'm Dr Lafina. I'm a GP and Lifestyle Doctor specialising in holistic health & wellbeing.

I founded the DEIA Health Clinic to bridge the gap between conventional medicine and lifestyle medicine, offering a service that integrates a holistic approach to health with evidence-based medicine to optimise health and promote longevity. I’m passionate about helping you to identify the links between your health and lifestyle and use the pillars of health to re-connect with your body, mind, nature and community whilst feeling supported and empowered to reachyour health goals. Through our wellbeing programmes myself and my team will support you to make changes that will transform your health, through simple and sustainable strategies that have lifelong benefits.

At DEIA we blend the latest insights from conventional and lifestyle medicine to address the root causes of illness, protect health and promote longevity. We offer a safe and compassionate space to slow down and prioritise wellbeing, address sub-optimal health and benefit from the support and guidance of holistic health experts. Our health and wellbeing programmes are designed to prevent, treat and reverse disease using evidence-based interventions and personalised health plans to create meaningful and sustainable lifestyle change.

How I can help you

My ultimate goal is to help you to understand your health, take back control and feel at home again in your body, mind and soul. One of my skills as a GP is to look at the bigger picture, find the root cause and map out the steps to get you back to optimal health. I've developed a holistic, thorough and multi-faceted way of doing this, The DEIA Method (see below).

I have trained at world class universities including King's College London where I obtained my BSc in Anatomy and MBBS Medicine, University College London where I studied for a Dual Masters in Brain & Mind Science and the Sorbonne University Paris where I obtained my International Masters Diploma in Neuroscience. After becoming a GP I undertook further training in Lifestyle Medicine at the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, American College of Lifestyle Medicine and Yale University.

As a Private and NHS GP I have worked in a variety of settings including, BUPA, The Telegraph, Goldman Sachs and a variety of private and NHS GP clinics throughout London.

I am a GMC registered doctor with full license to practice and a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and British Society of Lifestyle Medicine.
